BE CREATIVE @ YOUR LIBRARY programs for summer 2009
MONDAYS: 4-H program presented by the Litchfield County Cooperative Extension Center of the University of CT. The four week program includes all materials and is free and open to area children ages 5-18. Registration is required. June 29, July 13-27 at 10:00am.
Think Like an Artist! drop in on Mondays in July and create a work of art in the style of a familiar artist. All materials are supplied.
TUESDAYS: Family Fun Nights at the library! Tuesdays at 7:00, July 7-28th; family smiles are encouraged! Art, singalongs, nature fun & more for the entire family.
WEDNESDAYS: Storytimes for ages 1-3 ~ music, stories, fun! July 8-22nd at 10:30
Storytimes for ages 3-6 ~ music, stories, simple crafts, creative fun! July 8-22nd at 11:30
Creative Cooking for grades 4 and up! Create simple no-cook recipes from a sandwich on a stick to strawberry mice to snowy trail mix! Limited to 10 participants per class. July 8-29th at 4:00. Please register.
ROCKCATS READ! Join a RockCat baseball team mascot for stories and craft fun! Bring the camera, too! July 29th at 11:00.
THURSDAYS: Be Creative! A fun spin on crafts ~ make a working volcano, create with cardboard and much more! July 9-30th at 4:00. Please register!
